Pupils discovered space through working together using ICT

Our project involved developing Pupil Profiles, brainstorming group names using forums to select collaborative group, communicating via forums on a regular basis and designing and making space vehicles in class groups out of junk materials. Deciding on a name for the vehicle, the purpose of the vehicle e.g. exploration, defence etc. Developing wikis about space and astronauts and what we have learned. Video conferences to show and talk about vehicles and answer questions about them!


We decided to consolidate the learning that took place on space in choosing our face-to-face. We visited Armagh Planetarium which was enjoyed by all

For Dissolving Boundaries Day 2014 we invited schools to send us short video recordings that show what DB means to them. We've pieced these together into a movie!
