Face-to-Face:

The schools met at the Tayto Park Co.Meath. The pupils had a guided tour of Tayto Park and a visit to the Tayto factory. They had lunch together and played together.

Videoconferencing:

During the first VC the pupils introduced themselves to the other members of their group. Then they showed their partner school posters that each group had made of famous Belfast landmarks and Local Attactions in Mullingar. This gave the children something to focus on to talk about. During the second VC the pupils showed their partner school charcoal pictures they had drawn of passengers who were on the Titanic. In Mullingar the children showed their partner school in Belfast posters about famous people from Mullingar, the Lakes around Mullingar and the History of thier school - Mullingar Educate Together. They talked about who the passengers were and what had happened to them. Each group asked each other questions about their work. We finished by singing 'I'll Tell Me Ma'.
