Ourselves and Our Locality

Age: 8,9,10
Project Year: 2011-12

Project on the local communities in Magherafelt and Sligo

Each school produced a wiki entitled 'Our School A to Z'. Similarities and differences were discussed via forums and video conferences. Each school then undertook a project on their locality which focused on important places/landmarks of their area. Powerpoint presentations and models were constructed and then discussed during video conferences. Pupils also exchanged weekly blogs which detailed the important events in their class.
