The Fun House, Newry, Co. Down. Very enjoyable day! Children get to put faces to the names they have been writing to all year. We arrived at Newry at 10.30 and the Children began playing in the indoor adventure centre. They ate lunch together at 12.30 and got to know more about each other.

Getting to know each other in The Fun House

Video conferencing went well. We did three in total. Both schools will interact with one another through all forms of technology available on Dissolving Boundaries - blogs, wikis, podcasts, forums, videoconferencing and so on. We hope to foster good relations between the pupils in both schools through a focus on literacy and science. In this way, the pupils are learning curriculum-based content while also fulfilling the aims of the Dissolving Boundaries programme - improving the pupils' I.C.T. skills while developing a sense of understanding between pupils from both schools.
