Local history

Age: 9,10,11
Project Year: 2010-11

Students worked on building up relationships with their partner school while getting to know their locality

Students in the partner schools got to know each other in their groups using the forums. They completed pupil profiles that they shared with their partner school and uploaded photos of themselves onto the profiles. Students researched an area of local historical interest and took photos of it. These were then placed on the wiki pages and students learned about each others local history. This was also discussed in the video conferences.
