Comparison of euro and sterling currencies

Theme: Money
Aims:

  • To compare the sterling and euro price
  • To investigate the best place to purchase different items(North or South) To useobjects that would be of interest to the students (PSP)
Activities:
  • Comparing different items and where they were purchased
  • Comparing the prices of these items
  • Deciding on the best place to buy the item
  • Collaboration: The comparing of the price and deciding on the best purchase

    Videoconferencing

    We had 4 videoconferences in total. The children got to work together as a group. They learned more about the students from the North and their school and sport activities. The students got to experience a different type of communication and the use of technology that will be part of their home and work lives in the future. It broke down the distance barrier and the other children felt
